some new items!

Yesterday, my momma and I decided we'd go on a trip to Manchester to do some shopping and take a look around the Christmas market. I had some birthday money left which I hadn't spent (surprisingly!) while in London for my birthday weekend. Here are a few things I picked up!:

Zara Plaited Shopper (black) - £79.99

This bag has been on my mental wishlist for months! Both colours are lovely but black goes with everything and I like the black one slightly more so after a shall I, shan't I moment in the shop, I decided that if I didn't pick it up now, I never would. I think it'd pretty much go with everything and it's a good price for the quality.

I've had the same purse for over two years now (also from topshop) and it's held up well! But after buying my new bag, I 'needed' a new purse and this is the only one I found that I really liked today. Nothing else in topshop caught my eye but I'm happy with this one because I've been wanting a hard shell(?) purse for ages too, and it's a bargain.

H&M Printed Peplum - £12.99

Unfortunately I can't find the link to this top on the website but it's really pretty and I'm a sucker for a good peplum. I'm usually boring when it comes to clothes, I usually go for dark colours and plain things but this is a bit different for me seeing as it's got a bit of a girly print and some pink!

H&M Fur Collar - £7.99
This was just cute and I couldn't resist. I was looking for a more natural coloured one but my mum pointed it out and who could say no to that! I'm going to pin it to my leather jacket somehow and wear it like that.

I also picked up some make-up!

MAC Brow Pencil (Brunette) - £12.50
I can't find that colour on the website, but it's 100% called that! I picked it up in Selfridges and there was 10% off there this weekend on the cosmetics and fragrance and 20% off on everything else (I think!) so that was a bonus. We'll give it a go, I'm sure it'll be great!

MAC Lip Pencil (Vino) - £11.50
Their lip pencils are my favourite, and I'm building up quite a collection of them. This colour is different for me too, I wouldn't usually pick anything so dark up but I tried it on my hand and it's gorgeous! I'm tempted to order Rebel lipstick off the website now to pair with it (I'm slightly annoyed I didn't buy it today now and get some money off!).

I had this tested out on my skin yesterday and she took all of my foundation off and basically re-did my face and I actually fell in love right away. It felt so nice on my skin and gave me the most amazing glow ever! It's so light on my skin and I have really really oily skin so I wasn't expecting it to stay on all day (especially since she didn't powder or set it at all!) but it did, and I mean all day. It still looked good when I got off the train 9 hours later. I'm seriously impressed with this foundation, and it's so much cheaper than I imagined it to be, I was really expecting her to say at least £35+. I'd definitely think of giving it a go if you already haven't.

I also bought some stuff in primark, but they were hair clips and a christmas themed throw for my bed (which is seriously soft I tell you), a pair of black dolly shoes and a plain gold choker thing. We had lunch in Wagamamas (momma's first time) and as usual that was stunning, I'll give you one guess of what I had though! We looked around the christmas market too and it was busy so it was kind of hard to really look! We walked up to Zara and we just heard somebody start singing 'it's beginning to look a lot like christmas' and it immediately made it feel like it was christmas eve or something, it was really cute! We had a nice day even though we had a 2 1/2 hour train journey each way. Has anyone tried the Bumble & Bumble Straight Blow Dry? I was having another shall I, shan't I moment in Boots and decided not to seeing as the sample/mini size was £10.50 and the full size was £25.50, and it made more sense to buy the big one but I wasn't sure soooo I didn't get it and again, I'm regretting it but I'd rather know if it's worth it or not..

Sorry for not posting for a few weeks, I planned on posting a post on my birthday weekend and another on a haul of stuff I bought on that weekend, BUT I bought nothing except a pair of shoes in primark and some nail varnish the whole time, and I also didn't take many pictures either so it'd be pointless! As usual, pictures are rubbish!

thanks y'all if you were kind enough to follow!
